2021 Masters Botrytis Semillon

The Masters wines are named in honour of a person or event that has played an intrinsic role in the Peter Lehmann story, and released with bottle age to capture the wines’ full potential. With the Barossa’s warm lingering summers, it is a natural home for Botrytis cinerea, used to masterfully craft this wine and show diversity of Semillon.

A dessert wine with a luscious palate of dried apricots, lemon marmalade and toffee characters, balanced by a soft finish of lemon acidity.

Displays a bright gold colour; a reflection of the grapes long hand time on the vine in the presence of the noble mould. The rich palate is abundant in tropical fruit, apricot and melon, balanced by a fine acid line.
