Pale straw with brilliant green hues, the 2019 Wigan Riesling opens with lifted aromas of freshly squeezed lime, lemon blossom and delicate white florals, complemented by subtle notes of toast and citrus marmalade from careful bottle maturation. The palate is vibrant and finely structured, driven by pristine Eden Valley citrus, led by kaffir lime and lemon zest. A fine line of natural acidity brings precision and energy, while hints of honey and gently toasted citrus add depth and complexity. Powerful yet refined, it finishes with exceptional length, purity and minerality, with all the balance and structure to reward patient cellaring for decades.
