The annual world Tourism Day lands on the 27th of September. So to get into the spirit, the team at Peter Lehmann have put together a list of things to do when visiting the beautiful Barossa Valley.

With International travel off the cards for the foreseeable future, it’s time to see what South Australia has to offer!

Located 80 kilometres North-East of Adelaide, the Barossa Valley is an esteemed wine region, with vines dating back to the 1840’s. It is home to 14 sub-regions, creating diverse soil types and multiple climates that produce impeccable wines. Plus, there is a lot always happening in the Barossa!

Here are a few things to add to the itinerary when you visit the Barossa Valley:

Wineries

Of course, you can’t visit the region without visiting the Peter Lehmann winery. Our Barossa Cellar Door invites you to enjoy a wine tasting, or simply sit on our surrounding lawns and gardens and soak in the sun with some friends.
