Brett Smith
SENIOR WINEMAKER
During his university studies, Brett worked several vintages overseas as a means to saving money so he could travel through parts of North America and Europe. It wasn’t until his second vintage in Sonoma Valley that Brett become well and truly hooked on the buzz of vintage, viticulture and winemaking. He decided it was time to return home to Australia and study Viticulture and Oenology. His career in winemaking really began in 2011. Having spent several vintages in the Barossa, Brett fell in love with the region and was delighted to join the Peter Lehmann team in 2016. Alongside his fellow winemakers, Brett is committed to continuing the exceptional pedigree of winemaking at Peter Lehmann well into the future.
