Steven Crawford of Frederick Stevenson Wines – a four hour debate over said bottle would no doubt ensue.
Q. What is your favourite Peter Lehmann wines and why?
2014 VSV Valley View Road Shiraz – a step away from traditional Barossan Shiraz whilst being very reflective of the site and vintage.
Q. What is your favourite wine and food match and why?
Riesling and Oysters, enough said!
Q. When you are not making wine, what do you enjoy doing?
Playing hockey, trying out new restaurants / wine bars and traveling.
Q. What’s your favourite wine region in the world — other than your own?
Q. What would people be surprised to know about you?
At university I was a champion Water Polo player (true if you cut out the word champion).
Q. If you weren’t making wine for a living, what would you be doing?
Have never considered another option! Something that would involve as much travel as possible.
Q. What’s the best wine you’ve ever tasted? The most interesting?
1993 PL’s Reserve Eden Valley Riesling. Some old Barolos have been incredibly interesting, nothing specific comes to mind.
