Crafted by the next generation of Peter Lehmann winemakers, The Barossan showcases the superb fruit sourced from the many fabled sub-regions across the Barossa Valley. Lifted cherry and brooding dark fruit aromas combine seamlessly with sweet chocolate and mocha undertones to deliver an intense, generous and full bodied wine.

Parcels of high quality fruit are carefully selected from across the Barossa to produce The Barossan. Our winemakers have identified varying interpretations of this classic varietal to blend together seamlessly, delivering a complex and layered wine with fruit intensity and suppleness.
A selection of the Barossa’s key growers renowned for their quality and skill, have shared their passion and pristine fruit to create this quintessential Barossa Shiraz. Each parcel speaks of the vineyard from which it comes, sharing a special and unique aspect of the sub region.

The 2015 vintage came early and was followed by a cool and dry growing season with timely rainfall at veraison. The conditions produced red wines displaying a bright, dense colour and classic varietal characteristics.
