A microfest of fine music in the Barossa Valley

Following last year’s joyous sophomore micro-fest that is ‘Barossa, Baroque & Beyond’ we are delighted to announce its return on the 2017 October long weekend.

Artistic Director, Sharon Grigoryan (or ‘The-Artist-Formerly-Known-as-Sharon-Draper’), has once again gathered an extraordinary group of musicians to delight and surprise. 


Sunday 1 October


Late afternoon Brass on the Grass

4.30pm, Free Event

An opportunity to explore the wines and art at the Peter Lehmann cellar door, while enjoying the music of the Elder Conservatorium Brass Quintet. 


Old Redemption – Latin music, wine, food & fun.

6.00pm, Tickets $60.00*

A wonderful evening concert at Peter Lehmann Wine’s Old Redemption Cellar where serious musicians come out to play in an informal setting with food and wine

Featuring performances by:

  • Sophie Rowell, violin, and Slava Grigoryan, guitar
  • José Carbo, baritone and the Grigoryan Brothers, guitar
  • Jane Doyle, Compere
  • With some expected, and unexpected musical cameos. You never know who else may pop in…..olé!

The food and wine at this event celebrates all that is Barossa Valley, with libations from Peter Lehmann Wines and comestibles by Elli Beer. Elli will create a simple menu featuring local produce, available as share platters or individual plates of comfort food to complement the night’s Latin feel.
