Leave behind the everyday and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and warm hospitality of the Runaway Barossa Marathon on Saturday 21 October.
Runaway is an experience that’s all about sharing in life’s simple pleasures. Our beautiful rolling countryside, quiet roads and wide open skies are host to a full marathon, half Marathon and 10km distances – all on a mix of sealed roads and hard packed trails. With typically sunny springtime days and mild temperatures to help runners on their way, crossing the line smiling. The finish line Festival Village at heart of Peter Lehmann Wines grounds will offer the full post-race experience; where you can relax, soak up the atmosphere, appreciate a well-earned massage or stretch with the Barossa Yogini, refuel, and enjoy celebrating achievements with friends and family.
Make a day of it enjoying the local flavours of the Barossa Valley Region, with plenty of delicious food stalls, a glass of wine from the Peter Lehmann wine bar and entertainment; whilst cheering on other finishers.
Check out our event schedule for all the fab things happening at finish line festival with DJ's, live music from Adelaide’s indi pop trio the Germein Sisters, who have been turning heads across the globe and the critics have been raving about their catchy melodies and flawless harmonies, and food brought to you by Forage & Supply, Comida, Barossa Valley Ice Cream, the Little Blue Retro Coffee Van, Barossa Valley Cheese, Harvest Kitchen and Bean Revolution.
