John Fordham writing for the Daily Telegraph includes PLW 2010 Eden Valley Riesling in his ‘Wines of the Week’…
- “Exceedingly dry, minerally Eden Valley drop from one of the master makers.”
Jane Faulkner from the Sydney Morning Herald suggests PLW’s 2005 Stonewell Shiraz for her pick of great wines to cellar…
- “Stonewell is right up there as one of the great shiraz’ and while it’s always released with some age to do it justice – about five years – it really needs another five to be better appreciated. The ’05 looks particularly approachable, so decant it for a couple of hours. It is dense, concentrated with ripe berries, a touch of fruitcake and cassis essence, earth, liquorice and plenty of spicy oak. This is Barossa Shiraz at its finest and will easily hit the 2020 mark.”

Harvey Steiman of Wine Spectator online reviews the PLW 2006 Mentor
- “Firm in texture, with a chewy feel to the smoky black fruit and tar flavors, which linger against gritty tannins. Best after 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.“
