Delicate green gold, it has delightfully distinct fresh, tropical aromas. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity to maximize the freshly picked grape flavour and a little natural grape sugar and carbon dioxide has been retained to produce this delicate Moscato style.

Chardonnay

A delicate pale lemon colour leads onto a typically stylish Chardonnay showing fresh white peach and melon fruit with a background hint of barrel fermentation character and a soft, dry finish. This wine drinks beautifully in its vibrant youth but can be cellared with confidence for another 3-5 years where it will develop depth and complexity.

Layers White

Semillon, Muscat, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris, each add character to the final blend. An attractive pale yellow with green tints, it has aromas of citrus, hints of peach and aromatic lifted spiciness. It has excellent structure and a soft creamy mouthfeel, delightful depth on the middle palate and finishes wonderfully fresh with a mouthful of crunchy fruit.

2007
Wigan Riesling

Colour is vibrant lemon with a green tinge. The bouquet shows classical Eden Valley lime juice characters and hints of freshly baked bread and honey which is a characteristic of bottle development. The palate is pristine and finishes dry with zesty minerality. While already showing excellent development from five years in the bottle, the wine will continue to gather richness and complexity with another 5-10 years of careful storage in a cool area.

Fresh lifted smooth melon fruit with a touch of citrus on the nose. Medium weight, with gentle honeydew melon and peach fruit flavours. A beautifully balanced, pleasantly smooth drink, finishing with clean tangy acidity.

H&V Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris is a textural white wine. The colour is delicate with a green tinge leading toan aroma of freshly cut pear. The palate is rich and soft with a pleasingly dry finish and while drinking beautifully now can be aged for a few more years if desired during which time it will gain further depth and complexity.
