2010 Eden Valley Chardonnay
The Hill & Valley Series wines honour the greatness of our growers' vineyards that have defined quality at Peter Lehmann Wines since our foundation in 1979.
Each vintage we keep certain parcels of fruit separate and release them as individual wines. We believe these wines to be a true expression of the varietal characters and unique terroir of the vineyards from which they are made.
This single site chardonnay displays the wonderful diversity of the Barossa region.
Grapes were sourced from the Zander family property tucked away high up in the Eden Valley in the Eastern Barossa Ranges. Their vineyard is planted with the superior Bernard clones and the site is particularly cool, perched on a steep east facing slope, on lean rocky soils.
Careful winemaking and cool barrel maturation have preserved the piercing and pristine flavours from this site.
