The first wine we ever sold was called ‘The Futures’. It was sold to friends and family on a ‘pay now and we’ll deliver in two years’ arrangement. In all honesty, we simply needed the cash when we started to ensure we did in fact have a future! This ‘Futures’ series is a selection of exceptional quality Barossa wines and a toast to the faith of those friends and family, who believed in our dream every bit as much as we did. It bears the same name as that original wine and carries all of its spirited character.
2010
Futures Shiraz
This wine has a deep rich red colour, a brooding centre and a bright rim. On the nose it shows ripe plum, dark chocolate, black olives and a hint of currants. It has a rich & velvety palate with a fruit intensity which comes only from low-yielding Shiraz vines. It has a superb firm tannin structure and a long, balanced finish, ensuring a long life in the bottle.

Futures Shiraz Cabernet
Barossa Shiraz provides layers of ripe plum and dark chocolate while the mint and blackcurrant of Cabernet combine to create a wine of great power and structure. In keeping with the tradition of Futures, this wine is drinking beautifully now, but will also faithfully reward added cellar maturation.

The wine offers smooth approachability, softness and suppleness. A beautiful bright dark cherry colour, the nose gives aromas of red forest fruits & hints of wild bramble characters.

Futures Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio
Pale straw in colour, this is a fresh, clean grigio style. Aromas of pear and white stonefruit lead into a crisp green apple palate with lovely minerality. The finish is dry and exceptionally well balanced making it a very versatile style.
