Botrytis Semillon (375ml)

A beautiful bright gold colour which will deepen with bottle age. It has wonderful tropical fruit aromas with just a hint of citrus. It is a truly harmonious wine with a delicious lusciousness on the middle palate counter-balanced by tantalisingly complex acidity, the hallmark of a botrytised wine.

Margaret Barossa Semillon

A vibrant green gold colour with a bouquet of lanolin, beeswax and lemon flower. A superb expression of Semillon, it is beautifully textured with the first signs of honeyed fruit development on the middle palate, and finishing with clean, crisp acidity.

The colour is an intense brooding blackness with touches of purple at the rim. The nose is an opulence of classical Barossa Cabernet blackcurrants and violets. A great generosity of flavour and velvet fruit reined in by the fine chalky tannins on the finish.

It has the classic Eden Valley lime bouquet with the first hints of complex bottle development. The palate is taut and racy – its superb flinty minerality sliced through by a backbone of fresh lime juice and a touch of honey.

The King AD 2019

Twelve years old on release, this wine is showing all the benefits of extended bottle age. The colour has matured to a deep garnet. The nose has enticing hints of dark cherry and marzipan. Whilst richly mouth-filling, it has a taut structure and finishes remarkably dry, as do all the great classical Portuguese Vintage Ports. A treasure of a wine.
