Rooms
Peter Lehmann Wines Cellar Door features five unique rooms that offer superbly appealing options for your next business conference, party or special gathering.
From small, intimate rooms nestled amongst the rustic stonework of the old winery, to the warm and inviting surrounds of the new wing, there’s a room just right for your next occasion. Plus for bigger events, there’s Old Redemption Cellars Function Centre.
The Stonewell Room
The Stonewell Room, named after Peter Lehmann Wine’s flagship Shiraz Stonewell, is set within the original family winery. A lofty roof and old stone walls contrast with the bright colours of the contemporary local art that adorns the walls. In the Stonewell Room you’ll also find an impressive trophy cabinet that bears testament to our award winning wines. This intimate space is the perfect room for a private wine tasting, a small luncheon or an intimate dinner.
Area of 30 square metres. Holds 10 people for Lunch/Dinner and Boardroom and 20 Stand Up.
The Eight Songs Room
Named after Peter and Margaret Lehmann’s suite of Eight Songs paintings, this wonderfully ambient room features aged wine barrels, soft lighting and lofty ironstone walls as the backdrop to these dramatic paintings. The Eight Songs paintings were created by local artist and friend Rod Schubert, and are themed around the operatic play, ‘Eight Songs for a Mad King’, that was performed at Old Redemption in 1993. They provide character to this intimate space, which is ideal for a small luncheon or an intimate dinner.
Area of 75 square metres. Holds 24 people for Lunch/Dinner, Boardroom and U-Shape, 40 Theatre and 60 Stand Up.
The Dining Room
Built 120 years after the original building, this beautiful room continues the flow of feature stone walls from the old building into the new. The inviting open log fireplace
is a drawcard in winter whilst in warmer months the French doors can open onto the verandah with views of the expansive lawns and gardens. This modern space is perfect for slightly larger occasions.
Area of 105 square metres. Holds 30 people for Boardroom, 32 U-Shape, 60 for Lunch/Dinner and Theatre and 100 Stand Up.
The Mentor Room
To pay tribute to Peter, our best Cabernet of each vintage is named Mentor, and so too is this room. Framed by modern glass doors and character laden stone walls, this presence filled room commands attention. From a private wine tasting experience to a business conference or luncheon, the Mentor room will give your occasion the importance it deserves.
Area of 30 square metres. Holds 8 people for Lunch/Dinner and Boardroom and 20 Stand Up.
The Futures Room
The first wine we ever sold was called 'The Futures'. It was sold to friends and family on a 'pay now and we'll deliver in two years' arrangement. The Futures Room features a striking wooden table and French doors that open onto a terrace area overlooking the beautiful garden. It’s the perfect room for shaping your future, be it in a business sense or for a more personal event.
Area of 40 square metres. Holds 12 people for Lunch/Dinner and Boardroom and 30 Stand Up.
